This ban on burying animals is a load of tosh, they have just put a cemetary on a hillside near us,with a water course at the bottom. Surprised

But you can't bury animals in the field at the side of it,in case you pollute the watercourse. Mad

Some of our customers have had massive bills at he end. Vet call out, attention plus putting down. Then if they want an individual cremation (how do they know?) not much change out of 800 plus VAT.

From the Mac school of thought I offer this site and from comments right at the bottom we have local view on things like this.

F***k you Zdenka. That’s our culture.
We also eat horse salami if you didn’t know.
And yes, there are a lot of underdeveloped places in Romania where horses aren’t treated as a beautiful animal like that deserves to be treated, but trust me, lots of peasants (people who work the land) pride themselves with their horses and most of them take care of their pride better than some of the snot nosed westerners do.
Our culture sees the horse as a work animal, not some pampering toy for 15 year old brats who want unicorns and ponies.

Nah, just do it in the dead of night. As we did with Shergar.

Just don't tell anyone.

I reckon if that was done over here, (and found out Rolling Eyes ), then the fine would probably be in the region of £5000.

The pictures on that link posted by SJP are mighty fine. But why is that horse in the petrol station? Where does the nozzle go?
